Elementary Digital

Elementary Digital are looking for an end to end developer (front and back end).


● Creating best practice, responsive, user-friendly websites
● Delivered in Wordpress or Magento
● Bespoke functionality/themes/plugins/extensions
● Providing technical support to our clients
● Implementing new ways of working
● Integrating with third party APIs
● Browser/device compatibility and testing

Essential Skills

● Remote first working
● HTML5, CSS3, Media Queries
● JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery
● SSH/bash
● Experience with Magento
● Experience with WordPress
● Familiarity with LE(A)MP stack (Linux, Nginx(Apache), MySQL, PHP)
● Experience with Git workflows

The right person must have:

● 2 to 3 years minimum agency experience
● Demonstrable development experience
● Ability to solve problems
● The ability to work on multiple projects
● An eye for detail
● A keen interest in learning new technologies
● Willing to participate in meetups/conferences
● The ability to document projects with effective verbal and written communication
● Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients and staff
● Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of both clients and staff

Nice to haves:

● Node, React, Angular
● Virtualisation, Docker etc
● Familiar with Photoshop
● Magento 2
● Agile methodologies
● Unit/end-to-end testing

● Experience – we’re looking for people who can demonstrate their experience,
preferable in Wordpress (custom theme/plugin development) or similar

This is a UK Based role – we’re happy to receive CV’s off developers based in the UK,
