Variety, the Childrens Charity provides direct help to children and young people up to their 19th birthday who are living with illness, disability or financial disadvantage. The charity steps in where statutory healthcare, support and funding ends, to ensure that children have the support they need to reach their potential and thrive, regardless of their health, mobility, abilities and economic background.
We may be celebrating our 70th anniversary this year but we still have ambitions for growth and hope you choose to help us get there. We have already commenced our journey: Our new Chief Executive joined in August 2018. Our new Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications joins at the end of April. We have new and re-imagined roles to recruit to in addition to this one including a Head of Marketing and Communications, Digital Manager, and a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager.
This role is an important position within the wider fundraising and communications team as you will be solely responsible for raising the annual income target from Trusts and Foundations. With the support of the Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing stakeholder relationships with existing and regular supporters, as well as developing a strategy for identifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts and grants from new Trusts and Foundations.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a track record in securing income from these sources as well as working as part of a small but growing team with big ambitions to grow over the coming years.
